Hey Team!

Don't forget to check the Message Board and facebook for more information :).

Here is what I just wrote on facebook to Chris Doscher:

Christopher Doscher: I'm going to have a go at this. I have a lot of steam to blow off. I'm trapped inside with a two-year-old and a pregnant wife. Something has to give.

Capital Jiu-Jitsu: @Chris: That's part of the reason for the contest :). Give everyone something to do while the central East Coast is shut down due to "inclement weather". Besides I keep getting reports of all the creative workouts guys and gals are doing as substitute CrossFit/Martial Arts workouts. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

I suppose this is not an official entry as there is no video (although there are pictures, but no CJJ gear)
Shovel your roof for time.
It requires strength, stamina, balance and dexterity. And unexpectedly a good degree of patience as every 3-4 shovels full your wife sticks her head out a window and implores you to be careful. You know, cause it never crossed your mind. Then your 5 yo starts doing it too.
Yes, I shoveled my roof yesterday. There are sections of my roof that do not get much sunlight and catch all the blowing snow. I did not want another foot of wet, heavy snow sitting on top of the 2-3' that was already there. And not that I am wishing anything bad on my neighbors who gave me strange looks (... that crazy Texan), but I like being proven right.
